Physician Investor Course - The Empowered Physician

ABOUT:

This presentation will include a diversified approach to venture capital, asset-based funding, and passive income opportunities.  Physicians traditionally don't get exposed to these opportunities and when the world of diversification and passive income opens up, it provides various pathways for physicians to have ownership and eventually pave their own pathway.  The empowered physician is one who is knowledgeable about opportunities outside of medicine and who can start to explore this world more confidently.   A didactic session followed by a Q & A will be the format.

PRESENTERS:

Navin Goyal, MD.

Navin serves as CEO of LOUD Capital and drives the company vision on how venture capital can be a vehicle toward education, empowerment, and investment in businesses that have a positive impact. He emphasizes his physician ethics of treating people equally and well. Navin brings his leadership abilities with optimism, passion, and is always seeking win-win scenarios. Prior to co-founding LOUD Capital, Navin practiced anesthesia in a large hospital-based practice and was Medical Director for several years in a community hospital that incorporated growth, efficiency, and customer service. His first entrepreneurial venture was co-founding SmileMD, a mobile anesthesia company that provides access to care currently servicing patients all over the state of Ohio and recently opened up In Illinois.

Marshall Kuremsky, MD.

Marshall Kuremsky, MD utilizes the same personal and professional principles that have helped him navigate through medical education and building a successful practice as a surgeon into venture capital, investment, and the business world. Marshall is involved in the business aspects of healthcare start-ups, medical device and product review, and all other aspects that commingle business and healthcare. Marshall is currently an orthopedic surgeon and one of the physician-owners of a large orthopedic surgery practice in Raleigh, North Carolina, specializing in sports medicine and hand surgery and has spent many years as a team physician at the professional, collegiate, and high school level.
