Alan was born in Cameroon, Africa and grew up in Egypt and Nepal and moved to the US in 1988, He's a proud volunteer for the ADA, JDRF, and for Life for a Child USA.

This research provides research for critical studies and also advances diabetes care. Many researchers are practicing physicians who treat patients and apply their learnings to improve health outcomes.
