Stanford Emergency Department Innovation Partnership Program (STEPP) - a Pattern for Future Academic and Corporate Collaboration
Stanford's Department of Emergency Medicine has a unique academic-industry partnership. This new program was created to help healthcare startups with physician feedback and pilot programs. This partnership also helps Stanford's Emergency Department offer the most modern care for their patients and creates a unique environment for producing academic literature and innovation education. This program was created to find a process that could be exported to other departments and hospitals.
